JPL Ed Stone Awards for Outstanding Research Publications: Home

Ed Stone Award Winning Papers

The Edward Stone Awards for Outstanding Research Publications are typically awarded annually by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory Office of the Chief Scientist. They are named for JPL Director Emeritus and Voyager Project Scientist Ed Stone, who is also the Caltech David Morrisroe Professor of Physics and Vice Provost for Special Projects.

The purpose of the award is to recognize and encourage publication of significant research results in science and in technology by JPL employees throughout their professional careers.

The award consists of a certificate of recognition and a monetary bonus. Two or more awards will be given each year. In return, each recipient will be asked to give a public lecture to the JPL community related to the work for which she/he is being recognized. The lectures will be spread through the year.

For additional information see this site.

Winning papers are listed in the tabbed pages.
