Open Access Week and the JPL Library Desk Copy Exchange

by Melissa Hansen on 2024-10-09T09:37:00-07:00 | 0 Comments

What's happening: Celebrate International Open Access Week by helping yourself to books during the Desk Copy Exchange! There will be books on astronomy, the planetary sciences, telecommunication, engineering, management, and more.

When: October 22-23 9am-4pm @ the Hub Bldg 111-104

Background: The JPL Library receives returned desk copies and book donations from employees, and, after adding the appropriate books to the library’s collection, there are often leftover books. All JPLers are welcome to browse the collection and take what they like — the books need only be returned once you leave JPL (or prior).

First-come, first-served. Please bring a bag!

Questions? Contact the Library at library@jpl.nasa.gov or on the Slack channel #help-library.
